Sure. I'm a backend engineer with five years of experience, mostly in Go and PostgreSQL. For the last two years I've been working at a fintech company on the payments team. I was responsible for our payment routing service, and one thing I'm proud of is that I reduced failed transactions by about 15 percent by adding smart retries and better provider selection.

Before that, I spent three years at an e-commerce startup, where I built the order service from scratch and learned a lot about working with a small team and moving fast.

What I enjoy most is designing reliable systems that handle real money and real traffic. Now I'm looking for a bigger engineering challenge, ideally a high-load product, and that's what caught my eye in this role.
